Torah Portion - Chukat
Just like in many other parshiot, parashat Chukat contains unique, interesting and deep concepts that serve to teach us life lessons and understandings that can be applied to our lives. The main part of the parasha deals with the “para adumah” (the red cow). HaShem commands us to burn it and use the ashes to purify the contaminated people. The parsha also mentions the death of Miriam and her brother Aharon HaKohen. However, HaShem is waking up my heart to speak about the “the water that caused tension.”
There are people who are raced in good religious homes, but some of the children there do not follow after the tradition of the forefathers. Learning Torah, you must remember of who gave it, the reasons for its giving. Our Creator made this world, the creation for us. Because God made the whole creation for Israel, for the sake of Israel to spread the light of Hashem to the world. Israel is to be the light to the world. The whole creation has a purpose, the purpose of distributing the light of Hashem via Israel.
